If you're familiar with the history of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, you already know that four original volunteers, with the blessing of former Mayor Richard Caliguiri, are responsible for the existence of the PVGP. More than two decades later, the four are now 1,200 - a volunteer army focused on the improvement of this event, in order to support the PVGP charities.

The execution of Race Weekend and Race Week activities requires such tremendous organization and coordination many of us spend the other 51 weeks of the year pulling it all together. This event involves everything from snow fence to concrete barriers and hay bales, publicity, artwork, security, tents, merchandise, food, deliveries,... it is endless!
Each year, the PVGP and its related events continue to grow in quality, size and popularity, and is now the nation's largest vintage race event. The PVGP continues to succeed because of the time, effort and talent of our 1,200 volunteers.
We welcome organizations, like Dynavox and Emerson Process Management to join us as a group of volunteers to help stage our event.
